
With this project, it is aimed to train and strengthen the capacities of graduate students, academicians (research assistants of post-doctoral and post-doctoral levels) who are working on environmental law and policies and aiming to work on new approaches in law education. Things to work on the one hand, the quality and number of academics working on environmental law and policy in Turkey will not allow the increase; on the other hand, it will include new approaches and alternative teaching methods and techniques in the field of environmental law and policy education; basically, it is expected to contribute to environmental law and policy education and to find effective application in education.
The program of activities to be followed in order to achieve the projected results will be as follows:
- Environmental Law and Policy Education: General Framework
It will be realized as 2 modules: 1. International Environmental Law and Policies 2. Turkish Environmental Law and Policies (field trips will be conducted within this scope (Ministry of Environment, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), associations, foundations, etc.).
Rather than providing detailed information, it is aimed to draw a general framework. The aim of the project is to increase the interest in the field of environmental law and policies and to gain new approaches and alternative teaching methods and techniques in the field of environmental law education.

Cooperative learning (group work-discussions), watching related films, structured class discussions, constructive feedback, creative drama techniques, storytelling technique, fictional hearing (moot court) exc.
- Simulation Study
It is the stage of applying what the participants have learned throughout the whole training program. In this way, it is aimed for the participants to experience what they have learned, to evaluate and to reach the level of deciding what to do next.
- Evaluation Phase
It is planned to be 3-dimensional: 1. Participants ‘assessment of each other 2. Instructors’ assessment of groups 3. Questionnaire study (overall training program will be evaluated by participants).
